Sigma 9 Observatory

Introduction:

What happens to the human mind under extreme stress and even frightful duress?  Do you keep going through the same old repertoire of passive mechanical functions, nervously thinking, reacting, worrying, and contemplating defeat?  Or do you change the reaction settings within your own mind in order to survive, by going to a place that you never imagined existed before?  Will you be able to adapt and win or invent a new phenomenon to overcome adversity, because there is no other alternative but death and defeat?  I think this happens over and over to the characters in the book, "Sigma 9 Observatory and the Benghazi Incursion".  Many times their own extreme weaknesses become evident, causing them to fall into despair and almost certain defeat.  Eventually their fortitude and strength, with the help of God, make them regain their honor and moral integrity, lifting them to new heights in order to fight and overcome evil.   This website about the Sigma 9 Observatory (Asteroid 2004 BL86) gives a brief outline, technological analysis, and some of the conditions, characters, psychological values, and scenarios, which transpire over a long period of time at different places in the Universe.
